Good things come in threes

The three keys to a great life

Three months ago, I created the first episode for an ongoing live broadcast titled Live Sessions*;  for a website where I am a part of the team that runs the site. While writing this article it suddenly made me aware of what I had actually created when I wrote: ‘They say that good things come in threes’.

I hadn’t realised quite what I had stumbled upon until I began to research the phrase, wishing to check I had included it correctly. I discovered the following texts:-

‘There’s power in numbers. Numbers are everywhere in our lives. If you’ve ever noticed that you keep seeing the same number sequence everywhere you turn, chances are it’s not by accident.’

‘Once is an accident, twice is a coincidence, three times is a pattern.’

‘The rule of three is a writing principle that suggests that a trio of events or characters is more humorous, satisfying, or effective than other numbers. The audience of this form of text is also thereby more likely to remember the information conveyed because having three entities combines both brevity and rhythm with having the smallest amount of information to create a pattern.’

The three words, concepts that I linked together
are what I now feel compelled to refer to as a Mantra For Life!
It really doesn’t matter who you believe you are in this world, it still applies

Think it, Own it, Live it!!!

How powerful is that? It’s amazingly powerful and let me explain why. It begins with thought and what we have in our unconscious and conscious mind. When those thoughts are based on a universal love for life and everything in it, a sense of compassion and knowledge that we are part of a greater consciousness. To have a state of awareness that provides a freedom of happiness and fulfillment and a sense of purpose in life. That is where it starts to open you mind to the endless possibilities before you.

To Own it: one must first of all accept themselves unquestionably, understanding any perceived shortcomings, not as disabilities but as who we are. Able to accept that we are very different and yet so alike in great depth. Take control of your everyday life, breaking the old habits of an indoctrinated upbringing that is imposed upon us from childhood. To know who you are and where you are going in life, with certainty and without doubt.

To live it:  Bring together your conscious and unconscious thoughts and align them with your real time life. Live what you think and believe, 24/7. No hesitation, no guilt, no doubt, no uncertainty, just solid conviction and understanding.

I know that I have made this appear quite simple in describing it in three short paragraphs. But I know more than anyone how much effort you need to invest in yourself to arrive at this stage in your life. Absolutely nothing of value will be gained with such ease ever, something that I am sure you are aware of already. Qualifications of any kind that allow you to earn a good salary, to be able to play a musical instrument, create great works of art, be an incredible athlete. They all take great effort and commitment! Why do we not invest that level in ourselves automatically when it can make such an incredible difference to our lives and the world that we live in?

I have written a number of articles to share my knowledge. In addition, I have become very well acquainted with Char, who also is a prolific author and life coach. Together we create and produce the Live Sessions broadcasts and videos that are now featured on the sites. A collaboration that came about after I had edited several of Char’s articles and became more familiar with her thinking and how she lives her life. We now regularly spend hours and hours in discussion, exchanging ideas, experiences, and thoughts. I speak for myself here but have no doubt that Char will agree with me when I say, that we have enhanced each other’s outlook and views on a continuing process of elevation that we are both experiencing in our life journey.  We are privileged and honoured to be able to refer to each other as a great and valued friend, while we are on other sides of the world and have never met in person. We are connected in a way that surpasses physicality. A friendship that I feel will last a lifetime.

I need to conclude, that while this is a belief now and that I am happy to have, I realise that I know very little in this expansive universe. However, I feel that I have progressed to a greater level in my evolution as the human embodiment of my consciousness.

A Mantra For Life

I finish by suggesting that you adopt this Mantra  – Think it, Own it, Live it, into your daily life, maybe create some unique version for your own life!  Start each and every day by singing or chanting them as you go about your daily routine, when in the shower, driving your car or anytime you feel you need to lift you spirits. By doing so you will be engaging your mind in something quite special and bring about changes in your body and spirit. Do your own research about mantras to learn more about their use and power in self-help. I think you may be pleasantly surprised by the outcome.
